6,454 engagements on Facebook for one shopping centre, with just 16p spent on boosting the posts

The Brewery Quarter is a premier destination for eating out, leisure, and retail in Cheltenham.

Featuring popular bars like The Botanist, shops including Urban Outfitters, and restaurants including The Cosy Club, The Brewery Quarter offers something for everyone.

After the Christmas rush, The Brewery Quarter wanted to keep social engagement at their centre high as they know there is a link between high social media engagement and footfall to their centre.

Launching “Twixtmas” a 12 day Facebook campaign after Christmas, The Brewery Quarter saw a massive spike in both their audience size and their overall engagement.

They achieved this with only 16p spent on Facebook advertising because they have established a loyal social following on all channels and working with Maybe*  have created a Facebook Messenger audience that they can broadcast to on demand.

This means that they can invite their Facebook Messenger audience to participate and encourage them to share to friends ... end result 6454 engagements with just 16p spent on boosting the posts.

"We know that the more active we are online through social media and the more engagement we see with our content, the more footfall we have to the centre. This 12 post campaign was a huge success for increasing both footfall and increasing our audience.”

Demelsa, Marketing Manager of The Brewery Quarter

During the campaign, they saw an average of 122 reactions, 337 comments, and 79 shares per post.

The 6,454 engagements were broken down as follows 1,464 reactions, 4,038 comments, and 952 shares during the campaign. Each engagement increases the reach of The Brewery Quarters message.
