Kempsford Wedding Florist generates new business on Instagram: Corky and Prince

How can a business that operates for events connect with customers during uncertain times? One business’ answer is to focus efforts on its social media presence.

Corky and Prince is a wedding florist which specialises in flowers, styling and prop-hire across South West England. Being a visual business, Instagram is the perfect channel for communicating with clients during the lockdown.

Generating new leads and providing reassurance

One of the major benefits the business saw from using Instagram was providing reassurance for couples that had to postpone weddings.

Not only did Corky and Prince give reassurance to current customers by using Instagram and showing that they were still operating, but they received direct enquiries from new clients via the channel too.

Previously, new enquiries were generated via wedding shows, but with these all cancelled due to COVID-19, Corky and Prince ramped up content and engagement and have since been receiving quality leads.

Although the business wants to educate themselves more on how to measure social media success, they’re delighted to be getting new enquiries from bigger clients via targeted social advertising campaigns.
