Instagram is trialling a ‘double stories’ look in some users’ feeds. The new layout offers a ‘double layer’ of stories across the top of your screen, instead of the single row most users currently see.

YouTube has added new features to boost channel performance and merchandise sales. Dubbed as YouTube’s answer to Google Analytics, the new feature will display subscriber count, watch time, views, and revenue performance within a single dashboard.

Don’t just share, read before you Tweet

Twitter is trialling a new feature that will prompt users to first open the link they intend to share, before hitting that tweet button. Aimed to reduce the sharing of misinformation, Twitter said, “It’s easy for links/articles to go viral on Twitter [...] This can be powerful but sometimes dangerous, especially if people haven’t read the content they’re spreading.”
