Instagram launches subscription services in the latest social media news
Instagram is launching subscriptions
Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, has announced Instagram is testing a subscription service allowing creators to secure a regular income stream and give their fans a way to access exclusive experiences such as Lives and Subscriber Stories. The test is being trialed with small numbers in the US now and may be rolled out further if it is a success. Keep your eyes peeled for this social media update.

Facebook is removing profile videos
Facebook has announced that it’s removing video profile images as of February 7th, with people who currently have a video profile image being reverted back to a still picture instead.

Twitter suspends a Wordle spoiler bot
Wordle fans were up in arms over a bot account on Twitter spoiling everyone’s fun by tweeting the next day's Wordle answers! Twitter was quick to act and suspended the account for violating the Twitter guidelines.
