New messaging features now available on Instagram and Messenger

The first – Watch Together – is available now. When you update to the new messaging experience on Instagram, you and your friends can tune into IGTV, Reels, TV shows, movies and trending videos in real-time over video chat. 

The second feature Facebook is rolling out is chat themes such as tie-dye and love so you can personalise your conversations.

Twitter addresses early issues with Fleets, including people viewing Fleets without showing up in 'Seen' list

Twitter has addressed some early concerns with its new Stories-like tool 'Fleets', after some users expressed concerns over accessibility and transparency in the Fleets usage process.

First off, Twitter says that some users reported being able to see Fleets beyond their 24-hour expiry period. 

Twitter also says that there were some reports of non logged-in users being able to view Fleets, which should not be possible.

And lastly, Twitter says that some people were found to be viewing Fleets without showing up in the creators' 'seen by' list.

Pinterest tests online events with dedicated ‘class communities’

The company has been spotted testing a new feature that allows users to sign up for Zoom classes through Pinterest, while creators use Pinterest’s class boards to organize class materials, notes and other resources, or even connect with attendees through a group chat option.
