The free-to-enter awards will recognise local authorities that have demonstrated their support of small businesses within their communities, from delivering business advice and grants through to partnership programmes and adopting a small business-friendly approach.

The FSB Local Government Awards will celebrate and showcase the very best of local authorities’ support, innovation and collaboration with small businesses across England.
The FSB Local Government Awards are open to all county, unitary, district, metropolitan authorities and London Borough councils across England, and are free to enter.
The virtual awards ceremony is being held on 14 October and will be hosted by BBC Radio presenter, Dave Sharpe.
