Instagram wants you to take a break
Instagram have launched ‘Take a Break’ to “empower people to make informed decisions about how they’re spending their time. If someone has been scrolling for a certain amount of time, we’ll ask them to take a break from Instagram and suggest that they set reminders to take more breaks in the future. We’ll also show them expert-backed tips to help them reflect and reset.” Read more about the new Instagram feature here.

Instagram plans to bring back a chronological feed option
After more than five years, Instagram plans to bring back “a version” of its chronological feed next year. Mosseri said they have been working on the feature for months and are aiming to launch it in the first quarter of next year. Read more here.

Instagram adds Reels replies
Instagram has announced another new feature — Reels replies. Users can now reply in the comments section of posts with a Reel button. Read more here.
