Facebook will soon be offering different layout options when posting multiple images to the site. With different image sizes and caption placements on offer, we’re all for it!

Twitter making a splash

Twitter has begun testing out new app icons, with a few options to choose from. Also in the potential running is a new splash screen as the app loads on your device, Of course, neither of these updates have anything to do with functionality, but... pretty, no?

Mini meditations with Snapchat

Snapchat is making our social media news roundup due to launching the first of its ‘Snapchat Minis’ (micro versions of full apps that operate within Snapchat itself), starting with a meditation tool from Headspace. With the idea that users can chat with their friends while following a meditation, the hope is that the tool will reduce the fear of trying something new, and open up conversations around mental health and anxiety, particularly within Snapchat’s younger audience. Frogs, Food and (Guy) Fieri

While some restrictions are lifting and to a certain degree, life is returning to a semblance of normality for most of us, social media remains not only the place where we get network and get work done, but it’s still very much a place for fun and connection, too (well, the clue is in the name, right?)

From cats, dogs, foodstuffs, frogs and Keanu, Instagram accounts have sprung up all over, each sharing stock photos of their hero item, with names written over the top. Can you find yours? More here.
