Facebook Launches New Tools to Help Boost the Global COVID-19 Vaccination Effort

Facebook is launching a new push to help with the global COVID-19 vaccination effort. Including a tool on Facebook that shows users (in the US to begin with) where they can get vaccinated and an expansion of their COVID-19 info centre to Instagram.

TikTok to roll out personalised ads from April 15th

TikTok has begun rolling out notifications to users letting them know that they will soon see personalised ads “based on what you do on TikTok.” The message tells TikTok users that their ad settings will automatically be changed in order to serve them advertisements based on what they watch on the platform instead of just showing “general” ads. The company will make the switch on April 15.

Instagram Celebrates Women’s History Month

Instagram has been celebrating #WomensHistoryMonth by sharing stories from women on their feeds under the hashtag and launching some story stickers for users, designed by @alonglastname.
