Michelin worthy Eat Out to Help Out social media content

What's the time Mr Wolf? DINNNNNERRR TIME! As of August 1st 2020, the Eat Out to Help Out campaign is live and serving up diners with 50% off meals when dining in every Monday to Wednesday throughout the month at participating restaurants across the UK. Now we're in week two of the campaign and we're hungry for another serving of the best social media content in the Eat Out to Help Out conversation. Open wide.

Does Peanut Butter belong on a burger?

Fat Hippo Food boldly claims so. So if you're looking for a chance to try something new over Eat Out to Help Out, now may well be the time.

Just look at that peanutty, buttery goodness coating the meat. This is the definition of foodporn. And we like it.

How to replicate the technique
Get your food ready for its close up, and leave no angle un-turned. We need more ooze, more sauce and more juice. We make no apologies for it.

London Coffee Shops shines a light on an Eat Out to Help Out bite

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It's definitely up there with brunch, lunch and dinner, and not to forget elevenses. Who are we kidding, every meal is the most important meal of the day when we're tucking in.

London Coffee Shops is an Instagram account shining its coffee loving light on the best of London's hot spots for a cup of joe, and a slice of French toast. Take a look at Balham's Apple Blue Patisserie, to see just why they go to all that effort.

How to replicate the technique
A picture speaks a thousand words, so make sure the imagery you use is high impact. Go for ooze, drizzles and colour, and make sure your copy does the same.

Positivity and paneer at Prashad Restaurant

If like me you're an absolute fiend for paneer, then Bradford's Prashad restaurant has you covered alongside a helping of Gujarti positivity and gratitude.

It's wonderful to see the Yorkshire restaurant benefiting with a bounty of bookings from the Eat Out to Help Out campaign. So many bookings in fact, they're adding an extra course, and inviting customers to also enjoy the offer on a Thursday.

The post glows with positivity, gratitude, excitement and, no doubt a sprinkling of relief, you can hear it and see it in the post copy, but also the video.

How to replicate the technique
Show some love. Be it a genuine, authentic heart warming thank you or an extra offer, get out there and show your customers the same love, they've been showing you. It gives everyone the feels.

Chicken Tuesday at KFC

KFC are in on the Eat Out to Help Out action with Chicken Tuesday which turned out to be August 11th's most engaging post.

While fast food might not be the healthiest of options, its alright for us every now and then. But we really loved the humorous reference to the inflation of Freddo bars. Anyone else remember when they were only 10p?

How to replicate the technique
This one's nice and simple. It's just fried chicken.

Use a great foodie image, add the logo, and don't be afraid to have a laugh with your copy.

Gordon Ramsay lends his passion to Eat Out to Help Out

World famous chef Gordon Ramsay has got behind Eat Out to Help Out with August 10th's most engaging post.

Gordon brought his usual passion and energy to Instagram as he introduced the Eat out to Help Out offer's availability at Bread Street Kitchen.

How to replicate the technique
Perhaps you're not a world famous chef, restauranteur or TV personality. But that's no excuse for you not to take a leaf from the Ramsay cook book and bring your own passion to the table. Show your enthusiasm and pride for your restaurant, your menu, your team, and the industry. If you don't care, why would anyone else?

The Dumpling Shack gives us just a little bit more

Old Spitalfields Market is a foodie paradise and home to Sunday August 9th's best post chefs, The Dumpling Shack.

The Dumpling Shack are participating in the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. They also took to the gram to talk about some of the other offers they have live, with a wonderfully styled Insta post.

How to replicate the technique
Just because the Eat Out to Help Out offer is only available Monday-Wednesday, doesn't mean you can't offer more. By serving up what else is on the menu, you'll stay front of mind for customers who might fancy a visit to you at any time they choose.

Plant Based News gains traction for The Little London Vegan

Just like our favourite TV box sets, we love a part 2 episode. Plant Based News built on the momentum created by yesterday's social media dish of the day from The Little London Vegan.

When great content is tagged well, it gets shared and engaged with further driving reach. Today's best post in the conversation shares a full list of Vegan and plant based restaurants participating in the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, off the back of The Little London Vegan's content.

How to replicate the technique
If your menu caters to a certain palate, make sure you use the right social handles to demonstrate that. Be it #plantbased #vegan #vegetarian or #glutenfree, customers and influencers are looking for this content. Help them find it, and help them find you.
